About Matthew Macconnell

It all started by rolling a toy Lamborghini Countach about a rough pile carpet at 4 years old. From there, I traded toy cars at school and then every penny I made went into saving for a car. At this point, there was no going back. My parents just had to accept that I had officially become a petrolhead. If it has four wheels, I will drive it and find some kind of beauty in it. Over the years, I have been very lucky to drive many interesting things, whilst owning a few in the process. I often spend hours looking at car stats and information whilst keeping on top of automotive news. I currently own a yellow and black Opel Speedster that is fairly modified and a sepang blue Audi S1 as a daily driver. Being a London School of Journalism student, my final goal is to become a full-time automotive journalist.
